Terms of Service

1.1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CheerMe (the "Platform"), operated at cheerme.lk, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must cease use of the Platform immediately.

1.2 The Service

CheerMe provides a digital infrastructure for creators (the "Creators") to receive financial support from their audience (the "Supporters"). CheerMe acts solely as a technology intermediary and payment facilitator.

1.3 Fee Structure & Payments

• Total Deductions: Every transaction is subject to an 10% aggregate fee. This consists of a 7% Platform Commission and a 3% Internet Payment Gateway (IPG) processing fee.
• Payouts: Creators are entitled to 90% of the gross amount. Payouts are initiated upon request, provided the balance exceeds the minimum threshold of LKR 10,000).
• Currency: All transactions on cheerme.lk are processed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).

1.4 Creator Obligations

Creators represent and warrant that:

• They are at least 18 years of age.
• The content they produce is legal in Sri Lanka and does not infringe on intellectual property rights.
• They will not use the Platform for prohibited activities, including but not limited to: gambling, adult content, hate speech, or the sale of physical goods prohibited by Sri Lankan law.

1.5 Account Termination

CheerMe reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms or engages in suspicious financial activity without prior notice.

4. Payout Policy (For Creators)

User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Maintain the security of their account credentials
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Not attempt to circumvent platform fees or payment processing

Liability Limitations

CheerMe acts as an intermediary platform and is not responsible for disputes between Creators and Supporters. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of content created by users. Use of the platform is at your own risk, and CheerMe's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Sri Lankan law.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of CheerMe shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

Changes to Terms

CheerMe reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
